Re: Pics of my Grey
I bought a few new toys for Koko in conjunction for her 1st anniversary with us next month. She is seen enjoying one of them.

Re: Pics of my Grey
There were a few occasions Koko pooped on the kitchen window when my wife let her out of cage in the morning. To prevent that, my wife quickly took Koko to the washroom the moment Koko stepped out. Yesterday morning, Koko was brought to the washroom as she stepped out. She was placed on the floor. She pretended to shake her butt to poo and flew out of the washroom straight to the kitchen window. My wife chased after her. Koko flew back and forth a few rounds and my wife had to run back and forth a few rounds too to chase after her. Finally Koko got tired and gave a hard landing on to my wife's chest. My wife said she could have suffered a heart attack from that hit. My wife then quickly ran to the washroom and Koko detonated a massive bomb there.

Koko was extremely friendly yesterday. There was a bunch of kids sitting on the slide in the playground. Koko flew over there and chat with the kids. She allowed each and everyone of them to scratch her head. Very rare indeed.

Re: Pics of my Grey
Not really. It depends on how you socialize with your grey. If you keep your grey confine to your house all the time with only you taking care of him, he will very likely bond to one person. My family spend almost equal time with my grey thus she bonds with all of us.
I bring my grey out regular to interact with strangers. In this way a parrot will become more socialize. No matter how the parrot is always closer to his handler. You can't change that.

Just like pet dogs, parrots love to go out too. They will enjoy the new environment and also the scenery.
My Grey loves to go out for a walk. My Grey enjoys every moment out of cage.

Re: Pics of my Grey
My daughter likes to use her finger or an object to tap on Koko's head and says 'tuk tuk'.
Yesterday while I was using a small piece of wood to massage Koko's head, Koko kept on saying 'tuk tuk'.
After awhile, she flew to my wife who was resting on the sofa. Koko saw my wife holding a cellphone and went after the phone. My wife refused to let her have the phone fearing that Koko would destroy it. Koko was persistent and kept on saying "tuk tuk". I told my wife Koko wanted her head to be massaged with the phone.
This is how Koko wanted to be 'tuk tuked'.
