Cat vs dog

Which one is a better pet?
dog -can bring out to walk, can be taught to do trick, can protect the house
cat - catch rat?, what else

cat can be brought out for a walk as well. cat loves outdoor. but need to be trained (i mean an indoor cat can be brought out for a walk like dogs). try to get jan 2009 petster magazine, there is an article showing ways to train them.
cats are easier to toilet trained (i think)
my cat will jump up to my bed when i say 'up up'
cats prefer to have their own freedom, they don like their master to force them. they will come to you only when they need you. unlike dogs, our loyal frens.

yes totally agree,.cat always action..when they need food only they come to you.if not they will just sleep there

yeah...they can sleep 16-20 hours a day. some sleep lesser. about 12 hours. for me, i prefer cats due to my busy schedule. for dogs, u have to spend time with them, bring them out for walk everyday, bath them etc. while for cats, u can only bath them 2 weeks once and this is the max. like my cat, she will sleep when im not at home and will play with me once i reached home. so, if you are those who work 9am to 9pm, just get a cat will do. the cat will sleep when you go to work. ngam ngam 12 hours.

yeah...you're right. actually wanted to get a pup, had been looking around and consulted rescuers since months ago as i really love dogs. but now, i think im not going 2 get any yet, as my classes starting soon. so maomao is enuf for me
