Re: Pics of my Grey
Never taught any tricks. Simple shake hand also don't want to do. She likes to fly upstairs looking for my wife. Whenever she heard my wife is on the upper floor, she would zoom all the way up looking for her. Once she was up stairs, she refused to step down on command when my wife wanted to come down. So my wife left her there. When she saw nobody around she would zoom all the way down. My Grey always want company. She doesn't like to be alone.
My Grey likes to mimic the car alarm sound. When we said wee, wee, wee, she would say tok, tok tok. Or when I purposely on the alarm, the moment I clicked off, my Grey would say tok, tok, tok. That's the sound when you on and off the door on remote. I guess this is the only trick she could do.
When she gets up in the morning, she always greet Coo-coo. Yesterday my wife wished her Good Morning and asked the grey to say Coo-coo. She kept quiet, didn't want to say it. Then my wife left and came back to her cage in a short while. She was scratching the base of the cage asking to come out. My wife told her if she didn't want to say coo-coo, she won't be let out. Finally she said coo-coo and she was let out.
She was taken to the toilet to poo. After bombing, my wife went to the kitchen to do some chores and prepared food for her. The grey flew to my wife shoulder walking back and forth. My wife told her to step somewhere else because my wife can't do work if she kept on disturbing. Then she flew on the fridge watching my wife. After my wife finished her works, the grey flew back to her shoulder.
You see, my grey understood what my wife said.

Re: Pics of my Grey
On Sat night, at 10 something my Grey flew to the sink and bit the cap of a dish cleaner. She swallowed some of the liquid. I quickly used my fingers to remove the liquid from her tongue. I could feel the liquid and when I smelt my fingers, the dish cleaner smell was quite strong. I removed the liquid thrice using my fingers until my wife told me to use a wet cloth to clean her tongue. Since we do not have avian vet, I had to use my knowledge and experience in human nutrition therapy to treat my grey. I gave her liquid oxygen drops which has been proven to remove heavy metals in human body. I squeezed a few drops into a cup of spring water and fed her as much as she could drink. Then I gave her a little bit of vitamin c powder to detox her body. Lastly, I added pinch of wheat grass and spirulina powder to a tablespoon of water and had her to drink them.
My wife got up at 1am and once more at 5am to check on her. Thanks goodness she was alright. When I took her out of the cage at 7am, I noticed the newspaper was soaking wet with her urine. Usually it was dry. She doesn't poo in the night.
I guess the detoxification works.
